Share: It’s the 50th anniversary of Dinner in the Park, a community Thanksgiving event that normally feeds hundreds of people outdoors at Pasadena’s Central Park in Old Town. The event, organized by Union Station Homeless Services, has supplied thousands of holiday meals to people who are hungry, without homes, and to low-income families. Blotter: Paramedics called, a student being harassed, an employee followed through campus

Share: Día de Los Muertos (The Day of the Dead), an annual Mesoamerican holiday that celebrates the dead instead of mourning them, is being added to the list of events and holidays that are going virtual this year because of COVID-19. Winter session removed from 2021-2022 academic calendar

Share: The Pasadena City College board of trustees voted to approve a significant change to the academic calendar, against the wishes of the PCC Faculty Association. During their Oct. 21 meeting, trustees unanimously agreed to eliminate the winter intersession and add a second summer session beginning with the 2021-2022 academic year.
