Men’s soccer emerged victorious at Glendale on Friday night, edging their neighbors out 2-0, to improve on their already great start to the season. The game was neck and neck throughout most of the 90 minutes, with both of the goals being scored at the end of each half. The rest of the game, however, was quite uneventful with only a few yellow cards on either side and some emotional comments between players. After missing the playoffs by one game last year, water polo looked like a force to be reckoned with in 2018; that dream has disappeared quickly however as they were defeated in their first three conference games this season.

Social awareness showcased at PCC club week
As a student of Pasadena City College, there are 70 different clubs that one could join in order to be involved in the college community. Amongst many other organizations, those clubs tackling social issues had an opportunity to present themselves and showcase their ideas to students.
Get your end of summer kicks at the LA Fair
The Los Angeles County Fair ends the summer with a reminiscent drive down Route 66. Hosting its yearly festivities, the fair’s theme pays homage to Route 66 and the slogan urges attendees to “Get Your Kicks… at the LA Fair.” The fair’s activities include 68 rides, over 100 food vendors, sixteen main stage artist performances and countless arcade booths throughout the Pomona fairgrounds.
