There’s a good reason the quad was so crowded last week. Club Rush and University Day were both present out there. Club Rush (dubbed “Clubchella” this year) is when PCC students get to express their passion and enthusiasm for their club activities where the entire campus can see them. It’s a reminder that learning doesn’t have to be done in a classroom. College clubs are a way to get direct, practical experience without the pressure of a grade. There’s no need to wait until graduation to start exercising your skill or hobby, or to find people with similar goals.
But that’s a lot of clubs. LancerLife lists 104 organizations at PCC, and there’s no guarantee that list is complete or that the information is up to date. Talking to the clubs at their tables during the Rush is the best way to know the current options, but between the crowd and class schedules, who has the time?
The Courier is here to help. While we can’t cover every single club at PCC, we can still tell you what we learned from talking with club representatives during the week. So here are some clubs you might have missed.
