German Consul lands in for discussion about German culture

Marijuana and alcohol survey shows students what’s normal

Share: If students using alcohol and marijuana want to know how much they are drinking and smoking comparing to their peers, they can either take the alcohol or marijuana online survey. The two 15-minute programs called eCHECKUP TO GO were developed by the San Diego State University Research Foundation. They ask students about their drinking and smoking habits and about their personal aspirations and objectives in their health, career, relationships and self-esteem. Student-built underwater vehicles remotely sink and float

Share: Skill, calculation, wit, and teamwork were all put to the test on Wednesday, Nov. 19 as animated geology students showcased the remotely operated vehicles they built in a fishing contest for toy crabs at the campus pool. On this particular lab day, professor Elizabeth A. Nagy-Shadman had her students build their own ROVs out of polyvinyl chloride pipes, which are long pipes people normally get at a hardware store to replace their broken water pipe at home.
