Share: What started off as a deceptively balanced match eventually descended into disaster for PCC as ELAC’S Huskies dominated the last two innings, securing a 9-5 victory over the Lancers on their home field.  The majority felt like a close game of tug of war with each inning serving to give either team a slight edge, but nothing more.  Breanna Negrete scored the 3rd run for PCC in the 5th inning after a strategic single from Alysa Rojas gave her the opening, bringing the score …

Lucha Libre moonsaults its way into Old Pasadena

Share: As the rain drizzles down on a Chestnut Street parking lot, a man dressed only in spandex trunks and a mask bursts into a sprint and launches himself feet first at a psychotic clown. The clown takes the kick to the head and crashes from his platform to the pavement below. As the clown picks himself up, he turns to the hundred-odd crowd of onlookers and shouts to them in Spanish: “¡No se puede!”, you can’t do it. The crowd, laughing, chants back at …

Young people aren’t lazy, but that won’t stop older generations from saying it

People from younger generations have been taking to social media to describe their issues with being able to afford basic necessities. Older people are calling young people lazy and claiming that “nobody wants to work anymore” as opposed to giving them the support they so desperately need. If you know anything …
