That said, here are some absolute must-reads according to some of the students and faculty of Pasadena City College. “Crime and Punishment” by Fyodor Dostoevsky A favorite of …

Tool nails a killer show at the Crypto

Share: A show full of bright lights, loud sounds, beautiful guitaring, and soothing vocals. The most memorable moment from that night was seeing 20,000 people rocking alongside each other for two straight hours. Feb. 15th stands as one of the most memorable nights of my life as I experienced one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever seen. In that moment in time, the crowd all shared something in common, a love for Tool.  Tool is a rock band that originated in Los Angeles in 1990. …

Studios are killing animators for the sake of money

Share: Corporations are horrible, and they ruin everything. They take passion away from projects that require a lot of it. Unfortunately, when art is being made, and it ends up in the hands of greedy corporate executives, there are bound to be unrealistic expectations regarding how long it takes to make it perfect, let alone even passable for release. With all of that being said, big-game animation studios, most notably MAPPA studios, have had a history of abusing their animators to their breaking points, turning …

And when they do, they shouldn’t get criticism for wanting to witness one of the greatest artists perform. As of late there isn’t really too much to discuss regarding Mr. West, no questionable or wild statements. The most we’ve heard from him is from the recent collaboration album “Vultures 1” with singer Ty …

It’s not enough to be the best player on the team; in order to break through to this level, players must outperform everyone …

Share: The No. 15 Lancers took down No. 18 Los Angeles Southwest in a playoff showdown in front of a rowdy Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium Wednesday evening. The first half was all Southwest, as the Lancers had a disoriented first half, trailing 12-2 in the early minutes while accumulating 3 turnovers in that span. PCC would fight back, cutting the opposition’s lead to a one possession game with 5:06 remaining in the first half. Pasadena would be knocked down again, as Southwest would go on another 10-2 …
