12:22 am: An officer responded to an individual north of the CA building. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
12:32 am: An officer responded to an individual loitering at the stairs north of the C building. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
Tuesday, Aug 20, 2024
1:15 am: An officer responded to a female individual standing in the lobby of B building 2nd floor. Individual left immediately.
1:37 am: An officer responded to a male individual at the mirror pools. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
12:27 pm: An individual at the front counter at the Bookstore reported another individual who was putting items in a bag. An officer contacted the manager and cashier, who were not informed of this subject nor aware of any theft or items taken from the area.
6:23 pm: Facilities reported a male individual sitting in the GM building lobby w/ his belongings spread out across the floor. The subject was told to gather his belongings and leave campus. The individual obeyed.
6:46 pm: Facilities reported an individual camping in a restroom stall for a long time in the V building 2nd floor restroom. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
10:43 pm: An officer responded to an individual loitering north of the C building at the stairs. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
Wednesday, Aug 21, 2024
2:29 am: An officer responded to a female individual sleeping on a bench south of the ITS building entrance. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
7:26 am: A staff member told a male individual who was following her daughter around campus from the east side of the CC building. Upon further inspection the officer checked the area and was unable to locate the subject.
1:14 pm: A student reported her bag was taken from her unlocked vehicle while parked in Lot 4 Level 2. Surveillance footage was checked and showed no one was seen or near her vehicle at the time she parked in the lot. A student came forward admitting it may have happened elsewhere.
3:33 pm: A cadet encountered a male individual who was found loitering in the 1st floor men’s restroom at the Community Education Center (CEC) and was escorted off campus.
6:28 pm: Facilities reported on a male individual who was found loitering on the north side of the 4th floor of the R building. The individual was told that the building was closed and refused to leave, but left prior to the officer’s arrival.
10:32 pm: An officer reported a vehicle crash at Cordova/west of Hill Ave involving a tree. No injuries were reported.
11:51 pm: Facilities reported noises coming from the trash bin located in Lot 2. Surveillance camera showed no movement coming from the trash bin. Units checked the trash bin and found nothing in the area.
Thursday, Aug 22, 2024
1:31 am: Facilities reported a female individual sleeping on the bench south of the ITS building entrance. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
1:19 am: The officer responded to a male individual at the mirror pools. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
9:35 am: Alarm company gave a tip about a silent alarm being activated at the Rosemead property. While en route, Officers requested Temple City Sheriffs be notified and assist with entry. Officers were unable to make entry due to keyholes being vandalized. No one was found inside the property and construction will be notified for lock repair.
1:31 pm: A student reported a male individual lying on the floor on the 2nd floor of the C building. The student further stated that the individual appeared to be charging electronic devices. The officer approached the male and saw it was a student watching a movie.
3:00 pm: A student reported her bicycle was stolen from the bicycle racks south of the D building.
6:08 pm: Alarm company gave a tip about a silent alarm being activated at the Rosemead campus. Temple City Sheriffs were notified to respond but told that they will be delayed. A PCCPD officer responded and met with Temple City Sheriffs to enter the Rosemead campus. A search was conducted, but no one was found.
Friday, Aug 23, 2024
1:03 am: An officer responded to a male individual sitting at the tables north of the CA building. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
8:04 am: An officer responded to an unknown trouble alarm that was activated at C-215 and found no one in the area. A staff member concluded it was a low battery issue.
8:30 am: Facilities told two females who walked into the CA Building 1st floor women’s restroom was closed. Surveillance camera showed the two females entering through the main double glass doors on the east side that had been left partially opened. The two females disappeared upon the officer’s arrival and the doors were secured.
10:45 pm: Facilities reported a female individual who appeared to be digging through trash cans near the vending machines on the 1st floor of the IT Building on the north side. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
Saturday, Aug 24, 2024
3:41 am: Dispatch saw on a surveillance camera a male individual who was in the bushes north of the C building likely looking into windows at 2:15 am. The individual continued to walk back and forth in the area north of the C building and south of the E Building. An officer approached the male individual on the ramp west of the Library and told him to leave. The officer then checked the window north of C building and found a piece of wood covering an open window. An investigation of the C building was done and the officer found no one in the building.
4:01 am: Dispatch saw on a surveillance camera a male individual driving a flatbed cart south bound out of the C building near the handicapped entrance. Individual was also seen on the south side of the W building. An officer checked the area south of the C building, but did not find the cart. A facilities’ supervisor later confirmed that a worker came in early and used the cart.
4:24 pm: A staff member reported a transportation van parked south of the CA building near the Annex appeared to have been opened. Surveillance footage showed a male individual approaching the van at 4:56 am and then walking away west from the location. Nothing was interfered with, and no crime was committed.
Sunday, Aug 25, 2024
12:29 am: An officer responded to an individual with a shopping cart north of the C building at the stairs. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
12:41 am: An officer responded to a female individual loitering in the quad. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
1:05 am: An officer responded to a male individual sitting on the stairs east of the D building. Individual was told to leave and obeyed.
1:22 am: An officer inspected a vehicle with someone inside at parking lot 5 level 5. The driver was sleeping in the vehicle. Individual was told to leave and obeyed then drove away.
6:35 pm: A staff member reported seeing a male individual riding a scooter around the bungalows at CEC. An officer scoped out the area and was unable to locate anyone/anything.
10:59 pm: The officer checked a vehicle with 2 occupants in parking lot D at CEC. Individuals were told to leave and obeyed.
