The Lancers badminton team lost to Irvine Valley College Lasers 14-7, Wednesday March 16 at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium. The loss brought the Lancers their second loss within their first of three matches of the season and head coach Jennfier Ho her first South Coast Conference loss in eight years.

The 2018 Lancers Badminton team was one for the ages. The determination, confidence, and competitive superiority all combined to form a perfect storm for Pasadena to finish a perfect 13-0. Lancers badminton advanced to the State Championship finals, after easily defeating Irvine Valley College, 15-6, Wednesday evening.
Lancers beat El Camino, continue path to championship
PCC yet again landed another 2 victories against the El Camino Warriors on Friday in back to back matches, winning the first game 11-0 and the second 11-1. Despite only having 5 players, the Warriors put up a decent fight, but were unable to overthrow the currently undefeated Lancers. The Lancers were able to keep the Warriors from winning all but a single match in the second game. This kept the Lancers in the top spot of the division to compete in the the finals. …
