Over 1100 students voted during this years Associated Students elections held on April 16 and 17, an increase from last year, according to Scott Thayer, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs.

AS recommends merging Lancer ID and debit card
The Associated Students Board has recommended connecting the Lancer ID card and a US Bank debit card.

The annual March in March trip to Sacramento for students to influence their statewide representatives on education issues is planned for March 4.
AS to hold town hall meeting
The Associated Students will hold a town hall meeting Jan 24 to discuss student problems with transferring credits to colleges after the elimination of winter intersession, and the feasibility of changing the smoking policy on campus.
AS sets vote on constitutional change
The Associated Students has scheduled a vote next week on changes to certain parts of its constitution. The election will take place on Dec. 4 and Dec. 5 in the Office of Student Affairs.
