PCC prepares for national school walkout in support of Parkland shooting victims
Share: Tomorrow morning, PCC will be participating in the national school walkout which is both a memorial in honor of the victims of the Parkland shooting and a protest against current gun laws. According to EMPOWER, the youth branch of the Women’s March group who created the event, more than 2,500 organizations across the nation and some internationally plan to participate. Holiday Angels celebration grants wishes to children of students
Share: Associated Students (AS) is giving back to children of student parents this holiday season through their Holiday Angels benefit. The Holiday Angels tree, located in the Office of Student Life, boasts 100 cards with wishes on them from the children of students in PCC’s EOP&S, CALWORKS and PASS programs. There are three gift wishes on each card, along with the child’s first name, age and gender. All wishes are items between $10 and $25. Lancer Pantry teams up with Food Forward to fight hunger on campus
Share: The Pasadena City College Lancer Pantry Advisory Committee was formed to address food insecurity among PCC students by offering a food pantry resource.
