Lancers honored as Players of the Week
Share: Freshman quarterback Jett Even and sophomore linebacker Jalyn Williams were honored with SCFA NNL Player of the Week awards for their recent performances on the field. Williams was named Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against Cerritos in week 5. Williams was also the recipient of the award last year for his efforts against Canyons in a 20-12 win. Men’s basketball aims high with a freshman-filled team
Share: The men’s basketball team will enter the upcoming season with only a handful of players that have experience on the Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium’s hardwood floor. The Lancers will be without some key pieces of last season’s team. Sophomore guard Dejon Williams was a large part of the team’s offense and averaged 15 points per game shooting 41 percent from the field, but he won’t return. Follow:
Water polo didn’t skip a beat at Beach tournament
Share: The Lancers won three of the four games played during the Battle at the Beach tournament over the weekend, improving to 11-10 on the season. After posting a 1-2 record with one no contest at the Citrus Tournament last week, Pasadena got the results they were looking for by winning three games in a row to close out the contest hosted by Long Beach City College.
