In the Lancers threegame series against their rivals, Mt. San Antonio College, the Lancers lost all three games to the Mounties and were blown out on their last meeting Saturday 31-1 in the Mounties home turf.

The women’s badminton team continued their 27-game SCC win-streak by completely destroying ECC Compton in a 17-0 March 28 home win.

Lancers track and field team members placed in the top three of eight events at the 69th Pasadena Games held at PCC’s Robinson Stadium on Friday and Saturday, with sophomore standout runner Luis Dorantes leading PCC to its only first place at the event by winning the men’s 5000-meter run. Both men and women teams set high finishes in four events a piece.

 

PCC came out with their second win of the season when they went up against ECC Compton Tartars with a score of 21 to 0.

Olympic hopefuls who train at PCC’s Robinson Stadium competed at the Pasadena Games, where junior high, senior high, college, and individual world-class athletes ran in one of California’s most premier meets.

Despite winning 11 events, the Lancers lost the swim meet on Friday at Mt. San Antonio College.

In the badminton season opener against the East Los Angeles College, the Lancers kept their winning streak alive by beating the Huskies 15-6.

PCC spinning class offers a low impact activity with a lot of positive returns. Students fill up the cycling room each semester with hopes of adding the class.

 

The PCC Track and Field team placed in the top three in several events at the California Relays at Cerritos College in Norwalk, on Friday. Lancers finished in the top three in three of the events.

 

 The PCC men’s baseball team lost to the Seahawks of Los Angeles Harbor College in a March 8 home game at Jackie Robinson Field. The Lancers put up four runs in the game but it wasn’t enough to route Harbor who scored 16 -4, giving the Lancers their fifth straight loss.
