PCC swim team ended their season with a bittersweet taste in their mouths. Stephen To shined at the CCCAA state championships as he flew to win the men’s 200 butterfly state title.

It’s not every day a Lancer athlete PCC makes history, but freshmen badminton player Angie Ortiz did just that.

While the nearly undefeated Lancer badminton team has had a phenomenal season, it wasn’t with out some help from a strong support system, including student helper Faiez Mazlan.

Athletes get hurt. A lot. Those that do can use the athletic training clinic in GM-111 to get help with things from routine physicals to sprained ankles.

Freshman Stephen To made a comeback in the final 50-yards to win the title in the men’s 200-yard butterfly at the CCCAA State Championships at East Los Angeles College.

Lancer swimmer and state title holder, Stephen To has worked diligently to get to where he is today – well disciplined and well respected.

With a stellar performance in a tough-loss season, New Mexico-bound, second baseman Matt Chavez, concluded his second season with the Lancers, recalling what has been a journey filled with ‘hard work’ and ‘determination.’

Basketball Lancer Givon Crump, 22, has signed with CSU Fullerton’s NCAA Division 1 basketball team, according to Coach Mike Swanegan. A four-year scholarship is included in the deal.
