$180-per-unit classes unlikely at PCC

 

A two-tiered tuition system – in which some students could pay up to $180 per unit – is unlikely to be proposed at PCC. A large majority of members of the Board of Trustees contacted is opposed to the concept.

CSU plans to close the door on enrollment

PCC students hoping to transfer to a California State University by spring of 2013 may have to look elsewhere as state budget cuts could shut the doors for transfers at most CSU campuses, officials said.

A more energy efficient campus

A $2.4 million LED light project is near completion on campus. The project will change all the fluorescent tubes to LED lights; much of the campus has already been updated.

Laker Girls appear at restaurant near campus

Los Angeles Laker Girls Octavia and Deanna visited a restaurant across the street from PCC on Colorado Boulevard for an hour on Tuesday, signing autographs and having their their pictures taken with Laker fans. A crowd of PCC students attended.
