Working 8-hour shifts and juggling multiple jobs just to make ends meet needs to become a thing of the past. Raising the minimum wage would be the first step toward greater equality and revitalizing our economy.

Anyone who has worked a minimum wage job knows it’s not the best job in the world. But what do you get out of working one of these jobs? You get work experience. You learn to be a responsible person by being somewhere on time and being in charge of certain tasks.

EDITORIAL: Damage is done; apology is needed.
We believe the entire student body should have been informed immediately and officially that there might be problems with extended spring. This would have given the students more information to make informed decisions about their education.
A public apology from the administration to the students and faculty would be welcome and much needed in order to put all this behind us.
