Associated Students President Jamie Hammond recently started a blog for anyone interested in happenings on campus.Hammond started the blog as a means to get information out to the student body.”I’ve always wanted to communicate with students and I always felt very helpless at not being able to reach the students at large,” said Hammond.
Laptops available for loan in Wi-Fi lounge
A computer is an important part of every student’s life. Students use computers to do research and homework. There are already various locations throughout campus for students to use a computer, including labs in the D Building and the Library. Board member recovers from successful heart surgery
Board of Trustees member Dr. Jeanette Mann underwent heart surgery at Huntington Memorial Hospital on Wednesday after “experiencing symptoms” and receiving an angiogram late last week, according to PCC President Mark Rocha.The surgery successfully repaired an arterial blockage in her heart, Rocha said.
Swim team splits meet with SCC teams
PCC held a dual swim meet against Mt. San Antonio College and El Camino College on Friday at the Aquatic Center.The Lancers dominated ECC but could not overcome Mt. SAC’s talent.The men’s team scored, 187 points against ECC’s 75, but lost to Mt. SAC by a score of 140-131.
