An event focusing on the worsening global humanitarian water crisis, will be held in the Wi-Fi Lounge in the CC Building on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m., according to Hanna Israel, Associated Students vice president for sustainability.

Doctors Sampson Davis, Rameck Hunt, and George Jenkins, authors of the bestselling novel The Pact: Three Young Men Make a Promise and Fulfill a Dream, visited PCC for the First-Year Experience Pathways Program speaker series on Nov. 18.

The allotted seats in the Creveling Lounge filled up well in advance, as did the areas where the event would be broadcast live.
The room was buzzing with chatter from the audience, but as soon as the three men walked into through the door, everyone burst into applause, some even standing.
Winter class cuts discussed
The Faculty Association meeting on Nov. 17 discussed the issue of saving classes for winter intercession.

Students’ cars mangled by awning
The awning of Accurate Autoworks, located near the intersection of Hill Ave. and Colorado Blvd., was torn off by high speed winds on Nov. 30 and landed on top of two parked cars that belonged to students.
