Adjunct faculty members in the Visual Arts and Media Studies Division opened an exhibit in the campus art gallery on September ninth. The exhibit is called “News of the World”, and in this case the talent of the adjunct faculty members is news. “The basis of the show is different from our usual faculty show,” said Brian Tucker, gallery director.
Musical workshop goes Broadway
Many know about the hit television show “America’s Got Talent,” where contestants showcase their one trick pony performance. But the definition of talent is an underestimation when describing Instructor Richard Kuller’s musical theatre workshop class which will perform at Harbeson Hall on August 13 to the 16.
Students Exhibit “Lowered Expectations
An exhibit of student art entitled “Lowered Expectations,” in which the art pieces were anything but, opened at the PCC art gallery on Thursday. It includes installations that one would be able to find in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. The exhibit continues until July 18.

The Board of Trustees was greeted with a crowd of students and faculty protesting the budget cuts after its closed session at its most recent meeting.
AS application deadline extended
The Selection Committee appointed by the Associated Students opted to extend its application deadline for students to apply for two currently vacant seats. The deadline moved from July 17 to July 23 by 4 p.m. The two unoccupied positions are the Vice President for Internal Affairs and the Vice President for Cultural Diversity.

PCC President Paulette Perfumo remains on an indeterminate personal leave of absence she requested two weeks ago.

The Horace Mann Building was the epitome of opulence for Pasadena Polytechnic High School.The building was unto itself a view, grabbing the gaze of onlookers from Colorado Boulevard to its seemingly meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.Atop the structure’s sat a glass-coated dome that leaked in traces of sun into its vast hallways and kept the building in mood with the weather.
