Winter class cuts discussed
The Faculty Association meeting on Nov. 17 discussed the issue of saving classes for winter intercession.
In 2011, 355 sections were offered in winter session and in 2012 there will be an estimated 235 sections, according to the “Six Years Overview, Number of Credit Sections and FTES” sheet from Bob Miller’s office, said Roger Marheine.
Students’ cars mangled by awning
The awning of Accurate Autoworks, located near the intersection of Hill Ave. and Colorado Blvd., was torn off by high speed winds on Nov. 30 and landed on top of two parked cars that belonged to students.
