Share: The presidential search forums at Pasadena City College (PCC) on Wednesday featured the final four candidates, Interim Superintendent-President Jose Gomez, Lena Tran, Thuy Thi Nguyen and Carlos Cortez where they got to pitch themselves to the community in events punctuated by low turnout and minimal participation, spurring the search firm to extend the deadline for providing feedback an additional week. However, an email announcing the extension was only sent to PCC faculty and staff and has yet to be sent to PCC students’ inboxes …

Along with preventative education, opioid overdose reversal medication, such as naloxone or Narcan, must be available to distribute to students. Colleges will be able to provide federally approved dosages through …
Embrace individuality, don’t get trapped in fashion trends
Share: Every season has its fashion trends and with new ones always on the rise, many regular consumers will come following with haste. Trends are always a safe and easy choice for those who may be just getting into fashion. The important thing to think about here however is, are consumers buying into the trends because they like the items? Or are they just buying these items because they’re popular? The tradwife trend sends women back in time
Share: Tradwives are setting women back decades. They disguise themselves in a-line dresses, and post aesthetically satisfying TikTok videos of themselves cooking. To be a traditional wife is to be a woman whose life is completely centered around her husband and dedicated to caring for her family. It sounds innocent enough, but if you look past this you’ll see the truth, internal misogyny and adherence to outdated gender norms. Influencers such as Nara Smith, and Hannah Neeleman have been accused of spreading tradwife as well …
