Men’s soccer expect to improve next season with new coach
Share: Head coach Edgar Manvelyan will resign as PCC men’s soccer head coach and his assistant coach Henry Cabral will take over. Manvelyan looks to continue with recruiting, scheduling, and fulfilling his duties as a coach during the offseason. He has four sophomores who will be moving on to the university level and he hopes to help them. Manvelyan said, “I will not have the time to fully commit.” Follow:

The side-effects of PCC’s smoking ban
Share: Pasadena City College’s campus has been smoke-free for almost two years, yet the smoking areas have shifted to the sidewalks and entrances that border that campus. Although the school is not responsible for these areas, the city does not provide a receptacle for cigarette butts and the smoking groups have created a new obstacle for students and locals. Follow:

During the winter season Pasadena gets cold at night, especially for those without a home. Several local outreach programs offer emergency shelters and other services for those looking for a place to sleep and eat.
