Two PCC students were selected to the California Community College Women’s Basketball Association Academic All State Team.

PCC volleyball started the night dreaming of a championship but ended it in shock and tears when the Lancers fell to the Cypress College Chargers in the final round of the Southern California Regional Championship Tournament on Tuesday.

PCC Sophomore Tracee van der Wyk became the first Lancer to break the 18 minute mark at the 2010 California Community College Athletic Association State Championship race on Nov. 20.

A room full of high ranking administrators and the leaders of California’s community colleges stood as one to honor a PCC alumnus and show their admiration for the life and career that has its roots in a community college.

Students lined the walls of the Associated Students meeting on Nov. 17 and voiced their concerns about this semester’s class size increase.
