PCC’s new “state-of-the-art” Emergency Operations Center is set to be completed and available for use in time for Pasadena’s Rose Parade on New Years Day, according to Campus Police Chief Peter Michael.

A new way students can add classes through longer, no-cost waiting lists is starting with registration for the spring semester.

Both men’s and women’s soccer teams completed their seasons last week in Torrance when they played El Camino College. The men’s team ended their season with a 2-2 tie and the women lost, 3-1.

During the first half, the Lancers football team dominated defending state and national champions Mt. San Antonio College in Saturday night’s game at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, but PCC was unable to hold on and lost their final game of the season, 33-30.

Almost four centuries ago, two polar opposite groups of people celebrated together over a feast to show respect and gratitude for each other. Thanksgiving is the time to honor and show that spirit of kindness toward others in our own lives.

Buckling under a billion-dollar deficit, the UC system continues to suffer from inadequate state funding without relief in sight. The Lancers volleyball team gathered its 15th sweep of the season on Friday when it defeated Los Angeles Harbor College in Hutto-Patterson Gym by match scores of 25-14, 25-12 and 25-14.
