President Obama proposes free community college tuition

President Obama proposed making two years of community college free for students in a video statement posted Thursday on the White House Facebook page that comes ahead of his pending State of the Union address scheduled for January 20. If all 50 states participate the proposal could save a full-time community college student approximately $3,800 in tuition per year, according to the White House website.
