After nearly a year of enduring the coronavirus pandemic colleges across the nation have seen large drops in student enrollment. Students and faculty alike have been struggling with the adjustment to online learning leading to many students leaving the college system.
Athletics and the virus: ‘NFL throws money at it and they can’t control it’
Pasadena City College (PCC) is scheduled to restart its tentative sports season for Spring 2021 after the COVID-19 virus abruptly ended the Spring season earlier this year. Football, cross-country, men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s basketball are scheduled to have their first practice Jan. 18.
New Spring courses aim to support ‘Prison-to-School Pipeline’
FIRST, a student organization at PCC has announced a collaboration with the Prison Education Project (PEP). Advisors, Board members, and students involved in the club collectively strive to support and assist those who are affected by the Prison Industrial Complex in navigating through college in their pursuit of higher education.
