Football added to its best defensive stretch since 1974

Football washes out Santa Monica

On Saturday, despite only having 267 total yards on offense and 12 first downs, the Lancers dominated Santa Monica College when they nearly shut them out the entire game, ending with a final score of 30-2.

Lancers break 4-game losing streak against Pierce

On Saturday, the Lancers burst back into their winning ways against LA Pierce with a big defensive game, beating the Brahma Bulls with a final score of 30-19. PCC managed to force a season-high 7 turnovers, four coming in the first half.

Chaffey Panthers slash the Lancers defense

The Chaffey College Panthers starched the Lancers defense on Saturday in Rancho Cucamonga, scoring 56 points and racking up 689 total yards on offense. The Panthers extended their state wide winning streak, now 14 games in a row, by handing the Lancers their second loss in a row to a nationally ranked opponent.

Lancers football: Defense lights up the Desert

On Saturday, the Lancers traveled to College of the Desert to kick off their 2019 season in which their defense held the Roadrunners to negative rushing yards for the entire game and sacked the quarterback 9 times helping the Lancers to win 22-13.

On Friday June 14th, from 9 to 1pm outside studios across Los Angeles, members of SAG-AFTRA and the WGA took to the streets for the first day of a historic double strike. This marked the 1st day of picketing for striking actors, and the 73rd day for members of the Writer's Guild. 

The picket line outside Netflix's Sunset Blvd. studio was described by WGAW strike captain Henry Gammill as, "a very friendly riot."
