Softball splits conference games battling for third place

Pasadena softball started out last week losing to Mt. San Antonio College, 7-3, on Tuesday but came back strong, shutting out El Camino College, 6-0, in a battle for third place at Robinson Park on Thursday afternoon. Mt. SAC added to their 9-game winning streak after taking an early lead, scoring three runs in the first inning and remaining in control for the remainder of the game. Softball wins second straight

Down by three runs with two outs in the first inning, all the Lancers wanted was an out to get them out of the hole and back on offense. The softball team maintained their strategy and beat the Los Angeles Harbor College Seahawks 6-5 on Wednesday afternoon on their home turf to improve their record to 10-5 overall.
