After a rough outing versus Mt. San Jacinto on Feb. 20, the men’s baseball team rebounded nicely with an 8-5 win over Ventura last Thursday before losing in dramatic fashion to Rio Hondo 3-2 over the weekend.
Baseball wins series against Cerro Coso in thrilling fashion
The Lancers baseball team suffered a setback on Tuesday by coming out completely flat from the get-go as they were decimated 17-0 by LA Mission College at Jackie Robinson Memorial Field when the offense could only manage two hits and committed five errors on defense. The loss was by far the worst of the season for the Lancers, and head coach O’Meara made that very clear.
Losing streak finally over as Lancers baseball picks apart Cerro Coso
After nine straight losses, the depressing streak finally ended for Lancers baseball as the team cruised to a 6-3 victory over Cerro Coso College on March 27 at Jackie Robinson Memorial Field.
