Badminton breaks rivals streak; Ho’s team leads conference

In a shocking upset that brings them one step closer to the state title, the women’s badminton team snapped the two-time state champions and visitors, De Anza College’s 24 match winning streak with a 14-7 win in a non-conference matchup on Thursday.

El Camino stifles softball

The Lancers softball team was unable to upset first place El Camino College Thursday afternoon, losing 9-3 at Robinson Park. With the defeat, the Lancers have dropped to 17-16 overall and 5-11 in the South Coast Conference. The Warriors improved to 26-7 and 14-1 in the SCC.

Lancers badminton looks to grow despite big win

Pasadena has been so dominant in the SCC this season that Ho has had to resort to unique methods by testing her players against stronger male opponents in practice sessions and sending her team to compete in recent tournaments in Northern California and San Diego that allow her team to be pushed outside their comfort zone.
