Hip-Hop Heads React to Eminem Being Named ‘Best Rapper Alive’

PCC students have mixed reactions after the original Slim Shady was crowned as the globe’s top MC according to a poll by Vibe Magazine.After 920,000 votes were cast, Vibe Magazine fans led Eminem to a towering victory with 69 percent of the votes, despite his lack of album releases since 2004.

Five Renowned Artists Discuss Culture and ‘Artistic Roots’

The Pasadena Museum of History held its second of four programs introducing its upcoming exhibit, “Family Stories: Sharing A Community’s Legacy” on Tuesday night in a crowded Harbeson Hall.”Artistic Roots,” was a panel discussion exploring the role of ethnicity, and how cultural backgrounds and identities have influenced five renowned local artists.
