Judge Denies Continuance In Student Homicide Trial

A witness for the defense in the pending murder trial of former PCC student George Pigman failed to appear in court for a hearing on Monday. Last week, the court refused to grant a continuance for the defense, and ordered the witness, a psychiatrist evaluating Pigman to appear.

Statewide Mock Disaster Drill to be Held on Campus

Pasadena City College will be participating in a statewide drill simulating a magnitude 7.8 earthquake at 10 a.m. on Nov. 13. Various establishments such government buildings and schools will be participating this mock drill to prepare for a catastrophic natural disaster.

It was an amusing night full of music and satirical performances for the 170 people who attended “A Patriotic Halloween Concert” on Saturday in the Sexson Auditorium. This two-fold concert blended patriotic and Halloween themes, making this ensemble a colorful one.
