Professor Nobles Hosts Seminar About Race

Share: Each year, Professor Jennifer Nobles hosts a seminar featuring a panel of successful African Americans for her Psychology of the African American class, as well as the general public. This year it was held on February 19th from 12 p.m.to 2 p.m. in Harbeson Hall. The talk centered on issues such as racial prejudice in the workforce, black stereotypes, and skin colorization and the standards of beauty. Follow:

Therefore, it was only appropriate that Yoko Ono, widow of John Lennon, one of the founding members of the world-renowned English rock band, the Beatles, hosted an art exhibition of Lennon’s artwork, “All You Need is Love.” Follow:

Share: The fires roared in the green and diamond colored rocks in a seemingly never-ending fire pit down the center of the walk. Guests arrived in different sized groups; dressed in their finest flapper dresses, red bowties and tuxedos. Some mingled over fine wines and spirits as they waited for the event to start while others, still, waited in line to have press photos and interviews taken on the red carpet.                   Follow:
