As Managing Editor of the Pasadena City College Courier, I have the privilege of leading a talented team of student journalists in delivering engaging and informative stories to our campus community. I joined the Courier as a staff writer in the spring of 2024, and since then I’ve investigated the PCC Foundation’s investments, exposed an on-campus scheme targeting PCC students, and led our coverage of the Eaton Fire.
In my role as Managing Editor, I work closely with the Editor-in-Chief to manage the newsroom and oversee the editorial process, from brainstorming and assigning stories to editing and publishing content. My goal is to facilitate an efficient newsroom to ensure that every story we publish is as accessible and informative as possible.
Outside our newsroom, I am a geography student and the Politics Editor at New Voices Magazine. I’m a former EdSource intern and I currently work at LAist 89.3, LA’s top NPR station.
