The Lancers hosted an invitational for the best teams in Southern California and placed 5th overall out of 15 women’s teams and 13 men’s teams as competition heats up before the South Coast Conference (SCC) Swimming Championships.
Undefeated men’s team wins dual season title
For the first time in history, PCC’s Men’s Swim Team has won the South Coast Conference (SCC) dual season title, after beating Cerritos College and LA Trade Tech on Friday.
Swim team unbeatable in home dual
PCC’s swim team defeated Chaffey and East Los Angeles at home with two wins for the women’s team and win for the men’s team after Friday’s dual meet at the PCC Aquatic Center.
Women’s swim trade wins and losses
PCC’s Women’s Swim Team returns home with one win and one loss after Friday’s dual meet at Rio Hondo. PCC won against Rio Hondo with a 135-111 margin, while losing against Mt. Men’s swim comes home #1 in conference
PCC’s Men’s Swim Team may be on the road to its first dual season title in history, after winning over Mt. San Antonio and Rio Hondo this past Friday, giving them a 4-0 record in the South Coast Conference. Dazzling, defiant, but disappointed: Lancers lose at Diablo Valley
Last Friday, the Lancers were unable to secure victory in their swim meet against Diablo Valley College, but tasted some redemption on Saturday at De Anza College. Despite winning only 8 of the 27 races in a losing effort against Diablo valley College on Friday, the Lancers did defeat De Anza college, and on Saturday, won the the College of Marin Invitational.
