International students lose visas because of class cuts

While the spring forward intersession aided many students in regaining full-time status, 85 international students lost their F -1 (student visa) status, and some could not wait for the intersession to begin, according to the Assistant Director of International Students Amy Yan.

$180-per-unit classes unlikely at PCC

 

A two-tiered tuition system – in which some students could pay up to $180 per unit – is unlikely to be proposed at PCC. A large majority of members of the Board of Trustees contacted is opposed to the concept.
