URGENT: Extended Spring at risk of not being transferable for Fall 2013

Students taking classes during the Extended Spring term were shocked to find out that the courses they were told would transfer to universities for Fall 2013 are in jeopardy of being rejected.

A lawsuit filed against PCC by a former employee will go forward on July 19 with one less charge for the college to defend.

Police search for man who attacked two women on campus

A man described as “filthy” in appearance and sporting dreadlocks attacked two women on campus in front of the L-Building on May 15 around noon, according to a Campus Police. The man fled after being yelled at and pepper sprayed by a witness.

Frederick swam her fastest, literally, to the finishing line. As she got out of the pool, she heard the roar of applause from the stands. She didn’t know it, but Frederick had broken yet another Pasadena City College swims record.

President defends his administration

After over an hour of public comment chastising President Mark Rocha and his administration at Wednesday night’s Board of Trustees meeting, Rocha delivered a lengthy defense of his administration. The only problem was hardly anyone was there to hear it.

Calendar Committee meets despite cancellation

The Calendar Standing Committee met at its regular time on Thursday despite the meeting being cancelled.
The agenda for the meeting, which was not distributed because it was cancelled, included consideration of a 2013-14 calendar that included a winter intersession and one that did not, according to Academic Senate appointed Co-Chair Krista Walter.
