Meeting hosted by Associated Students give students the chance to express their concerns about the budget cuts.

About 50 demonstrators took to the Quad on Thursday, protesting the administration’s last-minute decision to cut classes a week before the semester started. The goal of the protest was to inform the students about the class cuts and the add code limitations started this semester, said history major Sam Resnick.

Observers of the Thursday protest against class cuts on campus had mixed feelings about how the demonstrators were raising the issues.

Members of the Academic Senate are angry about new arrangements at its most recent meeting on Monday.
