Police Blotter: Lot D at CEC should be avoided

Is a $100 million homelessness initiative the answer?

School placed on enhanced monitoring
Share: In early September, PCC received a letter from the Accrediting Commission of Community Junior Colleges (ACCJC) stating that the college had been placed on enhanced monitoring because of it’s poor record of documenting student learning success. Student learning outcomes (SLO) are statements made by each faculty member that identifies what students will learn and be able to demonstrate after they complete their course. Veteran suicide: a small window to the actual problem
Share: According to the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, 22 veterans commit suicide every day, rounding out to 8,000 a year. USA today reported that suicide among veterans has now surpassed the number of soldiers who died in action serving in the Afghanistan and Iraq. These numbers do not include veterans who are not enrolled in Veteran Affairs’ health care and thus are expected to be higher. Follow:
