The website wikileaks.org recently published almost 400,000 classified secret documents on the Iraq war and released them to the New York Times, The Guardian in the U.K. and Der Spiegel, a German magazine.

Football loses fifth straight game

A game that was played in the air leaves the Lancers on the losing end of a high scoring game. The Lancers were defeated by Grossmont College 69-34 on Saturday.

Water polo’s frustrating season ends

The PCC women’s water polo team placed sixth in the South Coast Conference Tournament held at Cerritos College on Friday and Saturday. The Lancers end their season with an overall record of 7-21, and 2-5 in conference.

Defense leads men’s squad to victory

After a disappointing first half, the Lancers men’s basketball team shook off its first-game anxiety and stormed back to defeat L.A. Pierce College 71-61 in their home opener at PCC’s Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium on Monday night.

Basketball teams open season with wins

The women’s basketball team opened the season at home last weekend when it hosted the Hilton Garden Inn Classic in Hutto-Patterson Gym and took the tournament championship.
