Marijuana dispensaries are fixable

For the past two years I have spent three days every week distributing marijuana, legally. The place I volunteer at represents one of the nearly 200 facilities given permits by the city of Los Angeles before a moratorium on all new dispensaries was extended in June.

Campus hosts veterans appreciation week

An observer in the Quad on Monday may have thought PCC was doing a reenactment of a war movie, showing off old military vehicles, M16 guns, and old Vietnam War body armor. In fact, it’s veterans appreciation week, and it’s sponsored by the Veterans Club.

Tensions rose over the weekend in Los Angeles as p Tensions rose over the weekend in Los Angeles as protesters clashed with law enforcement and city officials, putting the city of Pasadena and PCC community members on high alert. PCC President José Gómez sent out a campus wide email late Sunday night encouraging students to stay connected and continue to attend class this week. “College leadership in closely monitoring the situation, we remain in regular contact with our public safety officers and the City of Pasadena,” Gómez said in the email. “Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our students, and we remain fully committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for all.
