Senate finally returns to CAPM meetings

For the first time this academic year, the Council on Academic and Professional Matters (CAPM) met after an ongoing dispute between President Mark Rocha and the Academic Senate about whether the meeting was subject to the Brown Act and thus open to the public.

Academic Senate wants transparency before resuming CAPM

The Academic Senate voted to approve President Eduardo Cairo’s decision to boycott the Committee on Academic and Professional Matters (CAPM) meetings, asserting that it would be willing to return if the meetings became more transparent.
