Homecoming court challenges gender roles

In a gender reversal, Student Trustee Nolan Pack won Homecoming Queen, and Feminist Club member Angela Lo won King at half time during the Homecoming football game Saturday.The rest of the Homecoming court included Daniel Perea, Nick Shauer, and Aaron Mendoza for princes.

Concerns about U Building plans voiced at forum

Occupants of the U building voiced their concerns about the options presented by administrators at a town-hall forum on Tuesday in the Vosloh Forum. The options include a possible demolition, rehabilitation of the building using footholds, and would involve moving the occupants into temporary buildings while construction occurred.

Students find tranquility in the amphitheater

Locked between the Sculpture Garden and a parking lot, many students pass by the Jameson amphitheater and often hear casually performed music. But few students take the time to actually enter and enjoy the amphitheater’s interior and visually take pleasure in the unhurried environment.

Halloween show serves up a night of mystery, music

A night of music and costumes was on tap for the crowd that attended the PCC Orchestra Halloween Concert on Saturday night in Sexson Auditorium.Under the direction of Jo Raquel Stoup and Robin Sharp, the orchestra, comprised of 70 members, performed a selection of six songs centered on the theme of a masquerade.
