Smoke-free campus being considered
The Health and Safety committee is working toward a proposal to have the college become a smoke free campus.
Academic Senate to award scholarships
The Academic Senate is currently accepting and reviewing applications for a yet to be determined number of scholarships for students who are transferring to a four-year accredited university within the next academic year.

Architecture exhibit opens at gallery
Some of the works in the exhibit are abstract creations and many are different structures, such as a design for the Westfield Mall in Century City.

Academic Senate confirms 16-week calendar
Academic Senate President Dustin Hanvey confirmed that the college will be on a 16-week semester for the 2013-14 academic year at the Senate meeting on Jan. 28.
College enrollment up 6 percent
Student enrollment in Spring 2013 is up six percent compared to Spring 2012, marking a possibility for more state funding according to college officials.
