Coming off of a 22-8 season that saw the Lady Lancers reach the SoCal regional playoffs, the women’s basketball team will be looking to bounce back this year with a team filled with freshmen.

Whether it’s some flashy new shoes, colorful shorts, or customized jerseys, basketball players enjoy the attention. With that in mind, the women’s basketball team got an upgrade for their jerseys this season and they sure did catch the attention of anyone watching.

Youth and inexperience has never discouraged Lancers’ men’s basketball head coach Michael Swanegan. Despite only returning two sophomores from last season’s team, the head coach heading into his eighth year expects another competitive group from this year’s team.

Goalkeeper Angelique Ulmer secured another home victory as well as a spot in the PCC record books with her 12th career shutout in the Lancers’ 2-0 win over ECC Compton on Friday afternoon.
Men’s soccer lose thriller to Mt Sac 2-1
Even though PCC fell to a 3-5-1 conference record after the loss, head coach Edgar Manvelyan was satisfied with his team’s performance and is optimistic about the latter part of the season.
