Softball wins second straight

Down by three runs with two outs in the first inning, all the Lancers wanted was an out to get them out of the hole and back on offense. The softball team maintained their strategy and beat the Los Angeles Harbor College Seahawks 6-5 on Wednesday afternoon on their home turf to improve their record to 10-5 overall.

They improved to 4-4 in the SCC-North and 17-11 overall. Women’s basketball coach Joe Peron likes his team’s chances against any opponent they are placed against. Softball slumps against El Camino, Long Beach

With a rocky start, the Lancers hesitated and made simple mistakes on the field, allowing the Warriors to score on a dropped ball at home trying to end a pickle.
