Turnovers haunt men’s basketball

The Lancers’ men’s basketball team dropped another close home game Wednesday evening, losing 85-82 against East Los Angeles College. The tough defeat drops the Lancers to 11-14 on the season and likely ends the their chances of qualifying for the team’s second consecutive postseason appearance.

Men’s basketball can’t contain No.10 LBCC

Despite a valiant second half comeback, the Lancers men’s basketball team was unable to pull off the upset, losing to the state’s No. 10 ranked Long Beach Vikings, 74-65, Wednesday evening at the Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.

Women’s volleyball optimistic despite missing playoffs

With the departure of five sophomores from last season’s squad and an early season-ending injury to the team’s lone returning sophomore, Saige Spence, the Lancers finished the season with a 5-16 overall record, good for sixth place in the South Coast Conference.

PCC hosted a Mariachi Banda and Mexican Ballet fol PCC hosted a Mariachi Banda and Mexican Ballet folklorico to educate others on Mexican Culture. Students and faculty spent an hour immersed in dance and music out in the quad! 🇲🇽💃🏽
