If you’ve ever lost your eyes momentarily to the paintings, stencils and stickers that cover the walls of the T building, you’ve proabably come face to face with Dave Cuatt, digital imaging assistant professor. In true “Where’s Waldo” fashion, his stencil likeness is plastered all over the upstairs and downstairs halls.

His laidback sense of style with his distinctive French accent aren’t the only things that make this relatively young sociology professor, Tony Jugé, stand out among the rest of PCC’s sociology professors.

Klosterman is known for his intellect and criticism of popular culture, but his transition from critic to novelist doesn’t go over as smoothly for readers unfamiliar with his earlier work.

It is the naked immersion into the cultural and gender clashes that emerge in Montserrat Fontes’ First Confession that will draw readers of years to come; the remarkable entrance into a world where the actions of two spoiled children lead to a tragic chain of events, ultimately ending in murder and suicide, that will compel readers even 50 years from now to connect to the novel.

Pasadena is home to some of the finest art venues in the greater Los Angeles area. With such a thriving art community, there ought to be some unique, hole-in-the-wall places to find unique brands, right?
