PCC’s women’s basketball team added its 16th straight win and second conference win with a 90-64 win over East L.A. College (10-11, 0-2) on Wednesday night.

Despite a late Husky rally in the second half, the Lancer Men’s basketball team held on to win 76-67 at East Los Angeles College (8-15, 0-2) on Wednesday night.

After less than two full days of deliberating, a Pasadena Superior Court jury found former PCC student George Wood Pigman IV guilty of first degree murder on Monday.

A journal kept nearly four years ago by former PCC student George Pigman while he was incarcerated at Twin Towers Correctional Facility was revealed in the second day of his trial in Pasadena on Thursday. Pigman is charged with murdering his girlfriend Eimi Yamada in May 2005.

The defense rested its case Tuesday in the murder trial of George Wood Pigman IV, former PCC student charged with murdering his girlfriend, Japanese native Eimi Yamada in May 2005.

Just as the state has decided to suspend some student aid, jobs are growing scarce.
