For six months the administration has allowed two football coaches to be paid: one at normal price, whom they have placed on paid administrative leave, and the other to do the first one’s job.If Head Coach Kenny Lawler did something wrong, the administration needs to discipline him properly and swiftly. If, however, he did nothing wrong – which the investigation should have determined already – bring him back and stop paying his replacement.

We are all taught at an early age that there are consequences for our actions; you don’t eat your vegetables, you get no dessert; fail a class in high school and get grounded for a month. However, it seems that when you throw all your morals out the window there will always be a place you can go where you’re rewarded for being a menace to society: prison.

The PCC swim team participated in a South Coast Conference Double Duel meet against Chaffey College and Los Angeles Trade Tech on Friday, with the men’s team winning a close meet against Chaffey and women experiencing a loss that actually boosted their morale rather than hinder it.

East Los Angeles College shut out the PCC baseball team 4-0 in the Lancers’ 12th South Coast Conference game of the season, Tuesday at Brookside Park.The loss extends the Lancers’ losing streak to seven and brings their SCC record to 2-10.

The PCC women’s badminton team racked up another win as they barely beat East Los Angeles College on Friday.

Led by a slew of strong PCC hitting, the Lancer softball team defeated El Camino College 10-3 at Freeman Park in Gardena on Tuesday. The win brings their South Coast Conference record to 4-5 and their overall record 15-10.
