PCC faculty union under threat of being decertified by its own members
Share: Members of PCC’s Faculty Association (PCCFA) filed to decertify the union on July 5th of this year with the Public Employment Relations Board because of their grievances with transparency and a desire for better bargaining power. Share: The death of Mahsa Amini highlights global issues that many women endure:violence and oppression. Iran’s gasht-e ershad, otherwise known as the morality police that enforces modesty and dress code, had brutally beaten Amini until she collapsed while in their custody and later died in a hospital.
